The Big Savannah Toy Drive is back for its fifth consecutive year and will officially kick off on Friday, November 21. Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center’s annual holiday toy drive collects gifts for the children and families that the organization serves. The toy drive will be accepting gift donations at several local businesses through Wednesday, December 17.

At last Friday’s Stand Up. Speak Out. Conference, Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center announced the recipients of its 2025 Community Partner Award and Director’s Award. CCAC presented its 2025 Community Partner Award to Mary’s Place of the Coastal Empire. Ana G. Hancock, CCAC’s Bilingual Victim Advocate, was awarded CCAC’s 2025 Director’s Award.

Lite Foot Environmental Foundation will host its third annual Upcycling Design Competition and Showcase on Thursday, October 16 at The Clyde Venue in Savannah. This highly anticipated annual event brings together artists, designers and changemakers for an evening of creativity, showcasing how waste can be transformed into wonder through each designer’s innovation and vision.

Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center will host its 3rd Annual Stand Up. Speak Out. 2025 on Friday, October 3 at the Armstrong Center in Savannah. Presented by The Eichholz Law Firm, this informative event will feature expert presentations, open and honest discussions and a call to action to stand up and speak out against child abuse.
