PRESS RELEASE: Join Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center for Its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament on August 23

SAVANNAH, GA (July 23, 2024) — Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center (CCAC) is excited to announce its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, August 23 at Crosswinds Golf Club.

The tournament format is a four-person scramble, and golfers are encouraged to register as teams or as individuals. Funds raised by the tournament will support CCAC’s mission to provide free investigative and therapeutic services to local children who have been victims of abuse.

“We are excited to bring back CCAC’s popular golf tournament for its third straight year,” said Margaret Wheble, CCAC Board President. “We hope even more golfers will join us on the fairway this year for some friendly competition in support of CCAC’s critically important mission.”

Registration will open at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. at Crosswinds Golf Club, located at 232 James B. Blackburn Dr. in Savannah. An awards luncheon will follow the tournament. The cost to participate in the tournament is $100 per player or $400 per team of four. Teams and individual golfers can sign up at ccac-savannah.org/golf-tournament.
