Originally from West Virginia, Fitzgerald attended college at West Virginia University. She formerly served as prosecuting attorney of Doddridge County, an office she was reelected to three times. Licensed to practice law in West Virginia and Georgia, Fitzgerald is also a member of the National District Attorney’s Association, West Virginia Bar Association and Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
